Hi y’all! I’m Lauren 🙂

In 2010 I left America for my first ever travel experience, living in South Korea. My first international flight lead to me living abroad for four years & travelling to over 15 different countries. This time in my life greatly challenged & strengthened me. Now my goal in life is to share these experiences & make travel more accessible to others. Through travel we can create a more understanding & better connected world.

I’m from Alabama, the land of Fried Green Tomatoes & discovered my love of fusing foods while living in the land of Kimchi. Now I experiment with fusion style recipes & anything else that interests me here.

 

Other neat facts:

•  Mr. FGK (Ben) is my husband. I mention him a lot in my posts because he acts as my creative assistant & #1 taste tester for all my new recipes.
• No less than an entire pot of coffee is behind the development of each new recipe.
• I lived in South Korea for 3 years as an ESL teacher & Singapore as a teacher for 1 year. I’m happy to answer any questions you have about teaching & living in SK & SG.
