Fried Green Kimchi - Hong Kong Central

Recently, the Mr. & I took our first trip to Hong Kong. I say first because I can only hope & strive to go there again. Hong Kong was awesome!

Seriously, it was amazing!

Several of my friends have traveled there over the years & told me how great it was. Still, I never really understood what they were saying or had much of a desire to visit. Then Chuseok, one of the biggest holidays in Korea, was upon us. Mr. FGK (Fried Green Kimchi) & I had a few weeks before the holiday & a strong need to travel. So we booked the most affordable flight we could find, to Hong Kong. With the weeks leading up to it we began to research more & came to understand that we were about to enter a country that would cause our taste buds to peak. I get a little sad thinking whatever food I eat, from now on, will never be as good as it was in Hong Kong. I will post more on this later as we took a total food tour of the country & ate & photographed everything we could possibly fit in our stomachs … & then some.

We were definitely tourist geeks on this trip. I had my camera strapped around my neck the entire time & didn’t miss the opportunity to photograph even the littlest things we indulged in, like a glass of iced milk tea. Yes, even the iced tea made our travel album.
