I just finished participating in the 2nd annual Expat Exchange, hostecd by Diane at Oui In France. This has been such a great idea the past two years. Last year, I exchanged with a family in Poland which I posted about here. I received tons of delicious spices, marinades & drink mixes which I am still working through.
This year, my exchange came from Germany. What a welcoming since I am driving through Germany in just a few weeks. My lovely exchange sent over candles, tons of marzipan (which I ate in a shamefully short amount of time) & a stollen, among other sweet gifts.
Getting a package in the mail is the best! Especially when it involves candy 🙂
I had so much fun shopping for my exchange since Singapore has tons of fun & stylish gifts. If you’re in SG looking for good gift ideas, I highly recommend a shop called Naiise. *Not paid advertising – just a recommendation* They are located around the country or you can order through their web site. I found most of my Christmas gifts through them this year & also, from wandering around China Town & Little India.
Check back for pics & more tales about marzipan & stollen from Germany in a few days! #EuropeanRoadtrip
