At the end Petrified Forest & Painted Desert we found bits of Route 66. There are still pieces of it scattered through the desert & plenty of memorabilia. That night we stayed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The next day we headed East all the way to Oklahoma City. We drove as much of Route 66 as we could find along the way. The day after, we drove all the way to Alabama & that was the end for our epic road trip! Thanks for reading my posts & following us on our adventure.
